Air Traffic at Phoenix Sky Harbor
January 23, 2018



I went to Sky Harbor on January 23 to photograph Southwest's Coco 737. I also caught a Fairchild UC-26B Metro surveillance plane.

Southwest Boeing 737-8H4(W) N8644C first flew on November 21, 2014. Its construction number is 35976. On July 3, 2014, the train transporting the fuselage intended for this airplane derailed and the fuselage rolled into the Clark Fork River. It was scrapped and a replacement fuselage was assembled.

Southwest Boeing 737-8H4 N8639B first flew on July 21, 2014. Its construction number is 60086. It was delivered to Southwest Airlines on July 30, 2014.

American Boeing 757-23N N203UW first flew as N1795B on May 23, 2000. Its construction number is 24522. It was delivered to American Trans Air on June 16, 2000. It was leased to ATA Airlines on March 19, 2003. It was leased to Air Horizons as F-GRNG on May 31, 2005. It was acquired by US Airways as N642UW on Febraury 23, 2006. It has been registered as N203UW since October 27, 2006. It was merged into the American fleet on December 10, 2013.

American Boeing 737-823 N933AN first flew on April 20, 2000. Its construction number is 30080. It was delivered to American on May 12, 2000.

Fairchild RC-26B 90-0529 Metro is fitted with a comprehensive suite of special operations-specifics surveillance gear including : infrared imaging systems, TV spotter scopes, digital moving map displays and digital and wet-film cameras.

Southwest 737-7L9 N7816B Coco first flew on May 12, 2008. Its construction number is 28009. It has been operated by Maersk Air, Sterling European, Cimber Sterling, Aerosvit Airlines, and Yakutia. It has been operated by Souuthwest since October 28, 2014.
